Blood Disorders: European Hematologists gather in Copenhagen (DK), June 12-15, 2008

More than 6.500 participants from around 100 European and non-European countries will gather at the upcoming 13th Congress of the EHA in Copenhagen (Bella Center Copenhagen) from June 12-15, 2008. The EHA Congress will be organized by the European Hematology Association (EHA).

The EHA Congress has become the most important forum for laboratory and clinical hematologists organized in Europe and offers important information on current and future developments in hematological research.

Press Room

The EHA press room and journalist working area are located on the ground floor in the Center Hall behind the registration area in the BellaCenter.

Facilities are available between 07:30 and 19:00 from Thursday, June 12 to Saturday, June 14, and between 07:30 and 14:00 on Sunday, June 15.

Accreditation for Media Representatives/ Press badges

Press registration is free of charge. Last-minute press registration requests will be handled on-site, on presentation of press ID or letter of assignment.

On-site badge pick-up will be conducted at the Registration Desk. Press badges have not been / will not be sent out in advance.

About the EHA Annual Congress

The EHA annual congress is organized every June in a major European city. Over the years the congress has become the meeting place for hematologists in all fields of the specialty. The congress program has sessions on clinical and laboratory hematology and covers all the major hematological subspecialties, including hemato-oncology, red cell disorders, hemostasis, thrombosis, pediatric hematology and transfusion medicine. In 2007 the EHA Congress welcomed over 6.500 participants.
