Since 1998 EHA has organized an annual scientific and educational congress. Each year it is held in a different European country and the number of participants has been increasing steadily, reaching 6,500 in 2006 and 2007.
In 2008 the 13th Congress of the European Hematology Association will be held in the Bella Center Copenhagen in Denmark.
The EHA Congress has become one of the most important meetings organized in Europe for basic, laboratory and clinical hematologists. It attracts a growing number of participants from European and non-European countries and provides an excellent forum for presentation of the latest results in basic and clinical research.
The congress is an ideal opportunity to upgrade your knowledge on state-of-the-art diagnostics and therapeutics in Meet-the-Expert and Education sessions. Science-in-Progress sessions and Poster sessions present the latest advances in basic science and clinical hematology and Clinical Trial Update sessions brief you on the recent results of major clinical trials.
Many other activities, including Hematology-in-Focus sessions and the EHA Scientific Working Groups, offer opportunities for presentation of data, concepts, research protocols and other information helpful for our common goal of advancing the science and practice of hematology.
