3rd Notice of and Invitation to 12th Congress of the EHA - European Hematology Association.
More than 6.500 participants from around 100 European and non-European countries will gather at the upcoming 12th Congress of the EHA in Vienna (Neue Messe Vienna) from June 7-10, 2007. The EHA Congress is organized by the European Hematology Association. (President: Prof. Eva Hellström-Lindberg, Stockholm) with local congress president (Prof. Dr. Heinz Ludwig, Vienna) and an international Scientific Program Committee (Chair: Prof. Dr. Irene Roberts, London).

Kick-off Press Conference for the EHA Congress on Friday, June 8, 2007, at 10.30 a.m.
Please note that the kick-off press conference for the EHA Congress will be held at 10.30 a.m. on Friday, June 8, at the Neue Messe Vienna (Room Stolz II, 1st floor). Top international experts will be on hand to provide you with an overview of the highlights of the 12th Congress of the EHA:

The EHA press office and journalist working area are located on ground floor of the Neue Messe Vienna, close to the registration area, throughout the congress.
Facilities are available between 07:00 and 19:00 from Thursday, 7 June to Saturday, 9 June, and between 07:00 and 14:00 on Sunday, 10 June.
Press registration is free of charge. If you are a media representative and if you are interested in participating in the EHA Congress please complete and return the enclosed registration form to us. Thank you to those who have already registered!
On-site badge pick-up will be conducted at the Registration Desk. Press badges have not been / will not be sent out in advance. Last-minute press registration requests will be handled on-site, on presentation of press ID or letter of assignment, but you are advised to register in advance to simplify the process.

About the EHA Annual Congress
The EHA annual congress is organized every June in a major European city. Over the years the congress has become the meeting place for hematologists in all fields of the speciality. The congress program has sessions on clinical and laboratory hematology and covers all the major hematological subspecialties, including hemato-oncology, red cell disorders, hemostasis, thrombosis, pediatric hematology and transfusion medicine.
