2nd Notice of and Invitation to 12th Congress of the EHA - European Hematology Association.
More than 6.500 participants from around 100 European and non-European countries will gather at the upcoming 12th Congress of the EHA in Vienna (Neue Messe Vienna) from June 7-10, 2007. The EHA Congress is organized by the European Hematology Association. (President: Prof. Eva Hellström-Lindberg, Stockholm) with local congress president (Prof. Dr. Heinz Ludwig, Vienna) and an international Scientific Program Committee (Chair: Prof. Dr. Irene Roberts, London).
The EHA Congress has become the most important forum for laboratory and clinical hematologists organized in Europe and offers important information on the latest results in basic and clinical research. The topics range from stem cells to leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma, myeloproliferative disorders and myelodysplasia, thrombocytopenias, thrombosis and bleeding disorders, thalassaemias, transfusion and stem cell transplantation. A challenging program has been developed from the record number of 1895 submitted abstracts. More than 50 companies will be showing their products in a 2,000 square meter exhibition space. A high-calibre social and cultural programme is also offered in Vienna. Media representatives are kindly invited to visit the EHA Congress.
